Workday HCM Analyst (Contract-to-Hire)
Location: Remote (U.S.-based) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM PST Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire Compensation: $70–$75/hour Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States. No sponsorship or visa transfer support is available.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative HR Technology team as a Workday HCM Analyst, where you will serve as a key contributor in the management, optimization, and ongoing support of the Workday platform. This highly visible role partners closely with HR, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure Workday continues to meet evolving organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities
Workday HCM Administration & Configuration
Configure, maintain, and optimize Workday business processes, workflows, and system settings.
Support evolving business requirements through thoughtful system design and configuration.
Review, validate, and test changes delivered by implementation partners, providing recommendations and quality assurance feedback.
Coordinate and support Workday feature releases and updates, ensuring successful deployment and business readiness.
Perform data imports, exports, and mass updates using Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) and related tools.
Maintain high levels of data integrity across the Workday environment.
Security & Access Management
Administer Workday security roles, domains, and role-based access controls.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with established security and data privacy standards.
Investigate and resolve security-related issues in partnership with HR and IT teams.
Support ongoing governance and access management initiatives.
Reporting & Analytics
Develop and maintain advanced Workday reports, dashboards, calculated fields, and custom reporting solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to transform business requirements into meaningful data insights.
Support recurring reporting needs, including workforce planning, headcount, compensation, and compliance reporting.
Deliver reporting solutions that enhance decision-making across the organization.
Business Partnership & End-User Support
Act as a primary Workday support resource for HR, Finance, business leaders, and end users.
Gather requirements and recommend scalable system solutions that align with business objectives.
Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance efforts for new functionality and system changes.
Provide guidance, troubleshooting assistance, and informal training to users across the organization.
Build strong relationships across technical and non-technical teams.
Integration Support
Provide occasional support for inbound and outbound Workday integrations.
Assist with troubleshooting integration issues and implementing minor enhancements.
Partner with Workday support resources and third-party providers to resolve escalated issues.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of hands-on Workday HCM experience.
Strong experience with:
Workday business process configuration
Security administration
Workday reporting and analytics
Demonstrated expertise managing Workday security roles, domains, and access controls.
