ROLE SUMMARY
We are seeking a UX Engineer to bridge product design and front end engineering within a highly matrixed UI team. This role plays a key part in translating UX intent into scalable, production ready interfaces used across multiple products.

The UX Engineer partners closely with Product, Design, and Engineering to deliver reusable UI components, reinforce consistent interaction patterns, and ensure accessibility and performance standards are met. This position directly impacts user experience quality, delivery efficiency, and design system adoption across the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Partner with Product Designers to translate user flows, wireframes, and prototypes into production quality UI
• Build and maintain reusable UI components, patterns, and utilities within a shared design system
• Implement responsive and accessible interfaces aligned with WCAG standards and inclusive design principles
• Collaborate with product engineers to integrate UI components with application logic, APIs, routing, and state management
• Establish and promote front end quality practices including testing, linting, performance standards, and code reviews
• Drive consistency across products by aligning interaction patterns, information architecture, and UI behavior
• Contribute to UX engineering strategy including component roadmaps, adoption metrics, and migration planning
• Prototype and validate interaction concepts to reduce delivery risk and improve usability
• Identify and prioritize UI and usability improvements in partnership with engineering and product teams
• Support release execution by triaging UI issues and ensuring cross browser and device compatibility

KEY REQUIREMENTS
• 3 plus years of experience building modern web interfaces as a front end engineer, UX engineer, or design technologist
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript or TypeScript with hands on experience using Angular
• Demonstrated ability to translate design specifications into polished, production ready interfaces
• Experience contributing to or maintaining a design system or component library
• Working knowledge of accessibility standards including WCAG and ARIA with practical testing experience
• Experience working in agile, product centric development environments
• Familiarity with design tokens, theming, and multi product UI scalability
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence in a matrixed organization
• Resume must include a link to a design portfolio

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience collaborating in Figma using component libraries, variables, and auto layout
• Exposure to visual regression testing tools and continuous integration pipelines
• Experience with performance optimization including Core Web Vitals and rendering efficiency
• Background mentoring engineers or designers on UI implementation or accessibility
• Exposure to mobile web or native and hybrid environments
