Tax Associate Locations: Atlanta, GA; hybrid
Work Model: Hybrid – 2 days onsite / 3 days remote

Role Summary
The Tax Associate will support a broad range of tax preparation, planning, and family office services for sophisticated clients. This role is ideal for professionals with public accounting experience who enjoy technical tax work, client service, and exposure to complex wealth-management structures.
You will collaborate with Directors and Associate Directors to prepare workpapers, returns, projections, and meeting deliverables while managing multiple engagements and participating in tax research and technical development. This is a strong opportunity for someone seeking long-term growth in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities
Prepare tax workpapers, quarterly tax projections, and federal/state returns for individuals, trusts, partnerships, and private foundations.
Conduct tax research and present insights relevant to client needs and emerging technical issues.
Prepare materials for quarterly client meetings across tax, philanthropy, insurance, and accounting service areas.
Participate in weekly scheduling and workflow meetings.
Present periodically on selected technical topics as part of team knowledge sharing.
Communicate progress on engagements and coordinate responsibilities with team members.
Support various family office and client service tasks as assigned.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (required).
150 credit hours preferred (CPA-eligibility).
Graduate degree in Accounting or Tax preferred.
2+ years of public accounting experience, ideally serving high-net-worth individuals or family office clients.
Strong understanding of tax compliance and planning principles.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and deliver high-quality work under deadlines.
Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail, professionalism, and ownership of responsibilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Skills
Previous experience in family office services.
Background in public accounting
CPA certification or progress toward CPA exam.
