Senior Project Accountant
Irving, TX | Full-Time | Onsite/Hybrid Based on Business Needs
The Intersect Group is partnering with a growing organization in a project-based manufacturing environment to hire a Senior Project Accountant. This is a high-visibility opportunity for an adaptable accounting professional who enjoys owning project financials, partnering with operations, and working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
What You’ll Do
Manage percentage-of-completion accounting and project revenue recognition
Own full-cycle accounting, including AP, AR, GL, reconciliations, and month-end close
Prepare project financials, budgets, forecasts, and cost analyses
Monitor project profitability, cost variances, and financial risks
Partner with project managers and operations on financial performance
Prepare journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and supporting analyses
What We’re Looking For
3–5 years of accounting experience in a project-driven environment
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Strong knowledge of percentage-of-completion accounting
Hands-on full-cycle accounting experience
Experience with project costing, budgeting, and forecasting
Manufacturing or construction experience strongly preferred
Strong Excel, analytical, and communication skills
Adaptable and comfortable managing shifting priorities
