We’re seeking a proactive Senior Accountant to support indirect tax compliance and multi?state sales/use tax filings. This role partners cross?functionally, analyzes complex tax data, and helps improve key processes. Commercial real estate escrow experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and review multi?state sales & use tax filings
Compile and analyze tax data from multiple sources
Query financial data using SQL; reconcile GL accounts
Manage exemption certificates and tax correspondence
Support cross?department tax issue resolution
Research multi?state tax rules and registration requirements
Identify process improvements; handle special projects
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field
1–3+ years relevant experience (indirect tax preferred)
Commercial real estate escrow experience highly preferred
Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, IF formulas)
Strong communicator with urgency, accuracy, and professionalism
