As a Senior Scrum Master, you will play a key role in enabling delivery excellence within a global Data Engineering and Business Intelligence (BI) function, helping translate business needs into actionable technical outcomes. About the Role We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Scrum Master to support the delivery of strategic data and analytics initiatives within a global data organization.
In this role, you will lead Agile practices across cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment between business priorities and technical execution. You will be instrumental in fostering collaboration, removing obstacles, and driving continuous improvement to enable high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities
Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, facilitating all Scrum ceremonies:
Sprint Planning
Daily Stand-ups
Sprint Reviews
Retrospectives
Partner closely with Product Owners to maintain well-defined backlogs and clear priorities
Track and communicate team performance, delivery progress, and risks to stakeholders
Proactively identify and remove impediments while protecting the team from disruptions
Drive a culture of continuous improvement through effective retrospectives and follow-through
Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile principles and best practices
Coordinate across teams to manage dependencies and ensure successful delivery of complex initiatives
Support broader Agile transformation efforts and scalable Agile practices
Required Qualifications
5–7 years of experience as a Scrum Master, preferably in technical or data-focused environments
Proven experience leading cross-functional Agile teams (data engineering or BI experience preferred)
Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
Hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence
Strong facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
Excellent communication skills, able to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong organizational and time management abilities with the capacity to manage competing priorities
Experience coordinating across multiple teams and aligning delivery with strategic objectives
Growth mindset with a focus on improving team outcomes and performance
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Scaled Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe)
Familiarity with Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, or Data Engineering environments
Agile coaching experience or certification
Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent required
