Role Summary
We are seeking a Financial Analyst to support a high visibility, technology focused transformation initiative. This role plays a critical part in tracking financial performance, building analytical infrastructure, and supporting data driven decision making across hundreds of technology initiatives.
In this role, you will work closely with managers and initiative owners to develop business cases, track actuals, analyze variances, and identify risks or opportunities. You will help build the financial processes, reporting, and documentation needed to support long term transformation efforts.
Key Responsibilities
• Support financial oversight of large scale, technology focused initiatives by tracking budgets, forecasts, and actuals
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reporting, including variance analysis and performance insights for business partners
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, annual planning, and long range planning activities
• Assist with month end close activities, including journal entries and reclassifications as needed
• Manage and analyze large data sets in Excel, often consisting of thousands of lines of data
• Build and maintain financial templates, trackers, and documentation as processes are developed and refined
• Partner with initiative owners to track financial actuals, KPIs, and milestone progress
• Proactively identify potential risks, inconsistencies, or improvement opportunities and communicate them effectively
Key Requirements
• 3 plus years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, management consulting, or a related field
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or equivalent experience
• Strong forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis skills with a solid accounting foundation
• Advanced Excel skills with experience managing large and complex data sets
• Experience supporting financial reporting, consolidations, or close processes
• Familiarity with financial systems such as Oracle, Hyperion, Essbase, or similar tools preferred
• Strong business acumen, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline driven environment
• Effective communication and relationship building skills with both technical and non technical stakeholders
