Bonus: Eligible for annual bonus based on individual performance
Setting: On-site; After approval by manager: hybrid 3 remote days monthly

We're seeking an experienced Assistant Corporate Controller to support corporate accounting operations and partner closely with the Controller/Director. This leadership role oversees accounting functions, financial reporting, process improvements, and team development while ensuring accurate and timely financial results.
Key Responsibilities
Support corporate accounting operations and financial reporting activities
Review financial data, reconciliations, and internal controls for accuracy and compliance
Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff
Assist with property acquisitions, including accounting system setup and closing reconciliations
Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
Partner with operations and department leaders to improve accounting processes and reporting
Oversee accounting system administration and third-party applications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities
Strong property management accounting and financial reporting experience
Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, controls, and month-end close processes
Proficiency in NextGen and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel required)
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
